Our Story
We are a family run tree farm specializing in landscape and Christmas trees.
Our farm was started back in the 80’s when the Payne family planted the first trees on the property. This started out as a hobby and in 1995, the Payne family opened for it’s first Christmas Tree Season. The Payne’s continued to plant trees and sell them each year during Christmas.
In 2018, the Schaller family purchased the farm and renamed it Northwoods Tree Farm, LLC. The Schaller’s have continued to plant trees and expand the business. Northwoods Tree Farm, LLC. Offers Christmas trees, offering hayrides, and a gift shop with beautiful Christmas décor and unique gifts.
We opened our nursery in March of 2020 and offer a wide selection of evergreens, deciduous trees and fruit trees for sale.
Our Christmas Trees:
Our tree farm has many trees to choose from. You’ll find Blue Spruce and Black Hills Spruce growing in our fields along with several other types of precut Michigan grown trees. If you are looking for a specific type of tree please feel free to ask and we can help you find it.
